Brian Fasteners’ stainless steel screws are usually made of iron alloys containing chromium (16–18%), nickel (8–10.5%), and molybdenum (2–3%) based on the grade, i.e., 304 or 316. These ingredients ensure good corrosion resistance, tensile strength, and heat tolerance. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of 515–860 MPa, yield strength of around 205–310 MPa, and elongation at break of about 40–50%.
