Copper Nickel Stud BoltsCopper Nickel Stud Bolts are generally produced from alloys including 70/30 (C71500) or 90/10 (C70600). The 70/30 alloy consists of about 70% copper and 30% nickel and 90/10 includes 90% copper and 10% nickel with small amounts of iron and manganese. These compositions offer excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater. Mechanical properties are characterized by high tensile strength (for example, 372-517 MPa for 70/30) and good ductility, which provides consistent performance under stress and temperature changes.
