Copper Nickel Threaded Rods are usually made up of Copper Nickel 70/30 (C71500) or 90/10 (C70600) alloys. The chemical composition of copper and nickel with trace amounts of iron and manganese gives excellent corrosion resistance to saltwater, biofouling, and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, the rods have good tensile strength (e.g., 303-414 MPa for 90/10), good ductility, and can withstand structural integrity at fluctuating temperatures.
