Super Duplex Steel Nuts contain about 24–26% Chromium, 6–8% Nickel, 3–5% Molybdenum, and 0.2–0.3% Nitrogen that improve their mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The nuts have a dual-phase microstructure (austenitic-ferritic) that provides them with high resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking. They have a tensile strength of approximately 800 MPa and a yield strength of 550 MPa, with high ductility and toughness at both room and low temperatures.
