Super Duplex Steel Stud Bolts generally consist of 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, and 3–5% molybdenum, supplemented with nitrogen and manganese to improve strength and resistance to corrosion. The usual grades are UNS S32750 and S32760. These bolts have tensile strengths from 750 to 930 MPa and yield strength of approximately 550 MPa with elongation of a minimum of 25%. Their austenitic-ferritic dual-phase microstructure gives them excellent mechanical strength and good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, hence ideal for corrosive, aggressive, high-pressure, and industrial environments.
