Hastelloy Stud Bolts are usually composed of nickel (57%), molybdenum (15–17%), chromium (14–16%), iron (4–7%), and traces. They provide excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing and reducing environments. The bolts have tensile strength 100–115 ksi, yield strength 45 ksi, and Rockwell hardness B90–C30. They are resistant to thermal cycling and stress corrosion cracking, pitting, as well as crevice corrosion.
