Duplex Steel S31803 Fasteners have a nominal chemical composition of 22% chromium, 5.5% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and 0.17% nitrogen. The alloy exhibits a two-phase (austenite-ferrite) microstructure that provides excellent pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance. S31803 is mechanically hardened to a minimum tensile strength of 620 MPa, minimum yield strength of 450 MPa, and is ductile, supporting excellent service in hostile environments.
