Duplex Steel Threaded Rods are typically made from alloys such as 2205 (UNS S31803/S32205) or Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750). They have a high content of chromium (22-25%), nickel (5-7%), molybdenum (3-4%), and nitrogen (0.15-0.32%). Their balanced austenitic-ferritic microstructure provides superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, they have very high tensile strength (650-800 MPa) and yield strength, providing a major advantage over austenitic grades.
