Monel 400 Stud Bolts are made up of around 63% nickel and 30–34% copper and contain trace amounts of elements such as iron, manganese, and silicon. These fasteners have good resistance against seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and alkalis. Mechanically, they have a tensile strength of around 70–80 ksi and yield strength of about 35 ksi, with good toughness and ductility even at subzero temperatures.
