Copper Nickel 70/30 Stud Bolts (UNS C71500) consist of around 70% copper, 30% nickel, and trace amounts of iron (0.4-1.0%) and manganese (up to 1.0%). This particular alloy shows excellent seawater corrosion, erosion at high velocities, and stress corrosion cracking resistance. At a mechanical level, they have high tensile strength (typical 372-517 MPa), good yield strength (152-379 MPa), and acceptable ductility, which ensures durability and reliability at harsh operational stresses.
