The Copper Nickel 90/10 Bolts are composed of 90% copper and 10% nickel with minute amounts of iron and manganese. This alloy has superior resistance against saline water and industrial chemicals. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 320 MPa, yield strength 150–170 MPa, and elongation of up to 40%. Typical hardness is between 80–100 HB. The bolts are easily weldable, thermally stable, and fatigue resistant, suitable for both static as well as dynamic load applications. The alloy is also resistant to biofouling, which is critical in marine installations.
