Stainless Steel 310/310S Washers have Chromium (24-26%), Nickel (19-22%), and Iron content, with 310S having less carbon content (<0.08%) compared to 310. This makes both grades highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation up to a temperature of 1100°C. Their mechanical properties are tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa, with excellent elongation. Although 310 has a little more creep strength, 310S is preferred in welding processes because of less carbide precipitation. Both types retain structural integrity in severe thermal and corrosive environments.
