Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Washers comprise mostly Chromium (16-18%), Nickel (6.5-7.75%), and Aluminum (0.75-1.5%). The elements are the cause of their precipitation-hardening characteristics. The washers have excellent mechanical strength with the tensile strength of up to 1310 MPa and yield strength of approximately 1170 MPa after heat treatment. They also have good fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance. The alloy is non-magnetic in solution-annealed states but is magnetic when aged. Their mechanical stability under moderate heat and high-stress conditions make them suitable for aerospace and industrial applications.
