SMO 254 Stud Bolts consist mainly of high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with about 20% chromium, 18% nickel, 6% molybdenum, and a little nitrogen and copper. Mechanically, SMO 254 Stud Bolts have a tensile strength of approximately 650 MPa, yield strength of about 300 MPa, and very high elongation and toughness even at elevated temperatures.
